Powerboat Team

Powerboat Caribbean was founded in 2015 by Ron Stafleu and Remco Dammers. With their experience with the Powerboat Scheveningen company in the Netherlands, they started realizing their dream on Curacao in 2015.

In 2017 they transferred the company to Irvin de Jongh and Tamara Blonk. Irvin was born & raised in Curacao, where he could be found on a boat from an early age. Tamara has a background in inland shipping and grew up with water. They run the Powerboat Caribbean company together with the team they have built up over the years.

Captain Irvin

Irvin is our barbecue expert and he LOVES fast boats. His name literally means “friend of the ocean”. Irvin was born & raised in Curacao. In his free time he likes to be on boats and he loves to travel.

Captain Tamara

Tamara is our all round captain, planner and reservations manager. Nicknamed “Lara Croft” you will find this power woman behind her laptop or behind the wheel of the boats 😉 In her free time she likes to do CrossFit and spend time with her 3 dogs and 2 cats.

Captain David

Captain David is our funny goofball who likes to tell jokes. His snorkeling skills are quite impressive, his specialty is to find seahorses! David has 2 kids, in his free time he likes to play soccer and videogames.

Crew Benji

Benjamin (Benji) is known for his friendly conversations and good taste in sunglasses ;-) He likes snorkeling and joking.

Reservations Captain Ester

Ester mainly works behind the scenes on bookings, administration and planning. She also really enjoys going on tours to relax for a day after all that office work. In her spare time you can usually find Ester on the beach with her baby or at home with her baby and dogs.
